From the staff to the facility, the professionalism and discipline that is being put forward makes it an incredible program that my son has enjoyed more than anything! No Limits Martial Arts is fantastic! The Sensei's have a genuine love for the kids, and they encourage and motivate their advancement. They also encourage them to be good people and help everyone in the world for whatever cause. My daughter is a student here, and I plan on signing up the other two when they are old enough. I hope this is the one thing they stick with, and it's all because of the owners/family that run this place. LOVE THEM!

Effective Tricks to Get your Kids to Eat More Vegetables 

They show it and we know it; Kids don’t like to eat their vegetables. You may wonder if other parents face the same battle with their children when it comes to the subtle art of making veggies look appetizing, and we can assure you that we all do.

Here are some life saving tips to get your kids to eat vegetables and actually enjoy them:

Add Some Dip

Dip makes everything look cooler. When serving chopped veggies with some dip on the side, your child is more likely to chomp them up and will enjoy the extra flavour. Try dips such as ranch, caesar, peanut butter, or hummus. 

Get Creative 

Cutting veggies into different shapes will not only make cooking more fun, but will also increase the likelihood of your child choosing to eat them. Try shapes like diamonds, hearts, circles and squares. Using a variety of different colours will make your arrangement look even tastier!

Mix Veggies into Favourite Meals

One of the best things about vegetables is that they are versatile! Mixing these nutritive foods into your child’s favourite dish is a bullet-proof plan. Some great examples include using zucchini noodles when making pasta, or cauliflower crust as a base substitute for pizza. 

Involve your Kids in the Kitchen 

Kids love interactive experiences. When a child is made part of the planning process and can see how food is made, this may positively influence their own eating behaviours!

Lead by Example 

Parents will always be a child’s biggest role model. Teach your child to eat their vegetables by eating your own vegetables. When having a meal together, be sure to reach for the salad bowl and tell your child how much you enjoy the veggies on your plate.
